Toll Brothers has a development near me, which I’ve been very much interested. The name of the development is Crescent Hill and it’s in Murphy, Texas.
When I buy a house, I look beyond the aesthetics. The things that I keep in mind is serviceability and that one phrase “ gain access to…”
This methodology is applied not only to the home that’s been built or has been built, but the plot of land it sits on and how it integrate into that plot.

As I was told by one of your salesman “we don’t make changes to the drawings” “it is what it is”

Overall, I like your homes yet the things I can’t move past are attic access placed in the master bedroom closet. When you fall down the stairs, you better not have any clothes hanging. Even if it has to be there for a code a second access could easily be added.
The grading of the lot leaves a lot to be desired on every home I’ve seen in this development. I like to maximize my usable space and use things like retaining walls with a grading to allow water to flow away from the house while collecting it underground wherever we can, and then piping it to a drainage easement. Honestly, it just makes sense to do this things around the time you’re building the house as opposed to getting the cookie cutter version and having to rip out grass and everything else to make it a more maintainable, and usable space.
Having had three homes built over my lifetime, you learn what works, and having a builder not being able to entertain even the simplest of change is just inexcusable.
I would really love to purchase a property in a house from you, but your sales person made it perfectly clear that he does not want my business.
I want to pass this along in the hope that it could bring about some change to your organization.
